Sew Crafty Makers (Kids Club)
The Sew Crafty Kids Club is an ongoing creative sewing club designed for kids who are ready to grow their skills, build confidence, and truly enjoy the process of sewing.
Throughout the sessions, students will work on a club quilt project that spans multiple club sessions. This allows kids to learn quilting step-by-step at a comfortable pace—from cutting and piecing to pressing and assembling—while seeing how small skills come together into a finished project over time.
Alongside the quilt, students will also complete smaller take-home projects during each session. These projects are designed to reinforce techniques being learned, encourage creativity, and give kids something fun and usable to take home regularly.
This club emphasizes creative freedom, skill-building, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment. While guidance and instruction are provided, students are encouraged to make choices, explore ideas, and develop their own creative voice.
Requirements:
Students must be familiar with using a sewing machine. If a student is not yet comfortable operating a sewing machine independently, completion of a Beginning Sewing class is required prior to joining the club.
For 2026, we’re offering two age-specific sessions so every maker can learn at their own pace and skill level:

Morning Session: Mini Makers 7yrs - 11yrs

Afternoon Session: Junior Makers 12yrs - 16yrs
