Come with us and make this colorful quilt using Anna Maria Horner's new line Brave. We will be learning how to do reverse applique to make these folk art flowers and leaves. The class will have five sessions as we break down the steps to learn this fun technique. There are two versions of the quilt, one very patchy and one with an ombre background, you get to choose. Class price includes instruction and templates. A fabric kit will be available at an additional charge. The pattern is required and is only available online, which can be purchased here:

Prerequisites for this class are at least beginning quilt piecing and basic sewing machine operation knowledge.

Self-curated fabrics
Basic sewing supplies
Sewing machine in good working order (for Aug and Sept)
Roxanne Glue-Baste-It
Magic spray, Best Press or spray sizing
Small artist-type paint brush
Good quality sewing thread
Light box, if you have one (for Sept 1 class)
Bo-Nash Ironing Mat (recommended but not required)
During the first class session, we will discuss fabric selection for stems, block backgrounds, binding and backing.
