Quilting for Beginners



Beginning Quilting

Weekly for five weeks starting 
       Monday, October 23rd Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
                        
Cost: $150

If you want to learn to quilt but don't know where to start, this is the class for you. We will start with the basics of what tools to use and how to piece fabrics together. We will be making a small Nine Patch quilt that can be small lap quilt or wall hanging. 

Basic sewing and sewing machine knowledge is required.

Supplies needed: (click here for complete list)
      sewing machine
      2 different coordinating fabrics for the blocks- these can be purchased during the first class of desired
      1 additional fabric (for the sashing and borders)*
      1 fabric for back of quilt*
      batting
      matching thread
*sashing, border and backing fabric are not needed for the first class. You may want to wait until the blocks are done to decide on these. 

Cutting tools are available for use during class


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: basic sewing and sewing machine knowledge required
