Fleece Poncho

Winter Fleece Poncho

Date:  Thursday and Friday, October 26 & 27 
       This is a 2 session class. The first day we will determine the         size and style to make and cut out the fabric. The second day
       we will do the construction.

Time: 10 AM - 1 PM
Cost: $60
Instructor: Nancy
Age: 12 years-adult with sewing experience

Make a loose-fitting poncho with stitching line for “sleeves”, collar or attached hood &/or scarf and optional pockets. So many possibilities! Can be made all from one fabric or make the hood, scarf or pockets from a contrasting fabric.

  • McCall’s pattern M7202 (will be provided)
  • Fleece (or desired fabric) for size desired-call for amount needed for your size or stop in to look at the pattern envelope
  • Fusible interfacing
  • Matching thread
  • Desired closure (large snaps, toggles, buttons, etc.)
  • General sewing supplies (scissors, marking tools, pins, etc.)
  • Sewing machine (needed on the second day)-a limited number of classroom machines are available; please call to reserve one if needed
