CLASS POLICIES

Registration & Payment
Class registration is available in-store or online. Registration by phone will no longer be available as of February 2019.
Payment is due at the time of registration.



Class Cancellation And Refund Policies
-Classes that do not meet minimum student enrollment will be cancelled at least 48 hours before the class.
 
-Store Cancellations
    • Cancellations by the store due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled. If classes cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit.
-Student Cancellations
    • Cancellations by students at least seven days prior to class will be issued store credit as long as cancellation does not put class below minimum student enrollment. Cancellation by students less than seven days prior to class and no-shows at class may be refunded in the form of store credit at the discretion of the store.
-Instructor Cancellations
    • Classes cancelled by instructor will be rescheduled. If classes cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit.
Machines
Students have the option during most classes to bring their own machine or use a classroom machine. Select classes will require your own machine and that will be listed in the class description. Students should have basic knowledge on the general use of their machine prior to class. A 10-15 minute demonstration on classroom machines will be available and should be scheduled with the store prior to class time.


Classroom Etiquette
-Please be respectful of others.
-Please clean up after yourself.
-All drinks must have a secure lid.
-Food is allowed, but please be considerate of others and the facility.
-Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you will be late, please call ahead of time to ensure you will have a spot that will not disrupt the class.
-Please throw away food and drinks only in bins labeled for food and drinks.
-All phones should be on silent or vibrate during class.

OPEN SEW POLICIES & ETIQUETTE

  • Open Sew is a chance to socialize and share your projects with fellow customers.
  • Open Sew is free and no purchase is required.
  • No instruction is provided during open sew time.
  • Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The open sew area will seat up to ten people with two people per table. Please make room for others as needed.  
  • Customers are required to bring their own machine and supplies for open sew. No classroom machines or floor models will be available for use during open sew.
  • Classroom and sales floor are not available spaces for open sew.
  • Please be respectful of others.
  • All drinks must have a secure lid. Food is allowed, but please be considerate and respectful of others and the facility.
  • Please clean up after yourself. Food and drinks should be thrown away only in bins labeled for food and drinks.
