Founded by Springfield native Shawn Williams, Shawn’s Sewing Center represents the culmination of over 11 years of dedicated technician experience, numerous certifications, and invaluable training. With a background in servicing various quilt shops, Shawn decided to venture out on his own, establishing the first location in Springfield MO in 2013.

Renowned for providing honest work at reasonable rates, Shawn’s Sewing Center quickly gained traction, experiencing exponential growth since its inception. Shawn’s commitment to integrity and quality service has fostered a vast, loyal customer base and a robust network of word-of-mouth recommendations. In January 2019, Shawn’s Sewing Center expanded to a larger location at East Battlefield. The newer location offers enhanced facilities with two spacious classroom areas, hosting a myriad of classes, sewing clubs, and educational events. The new store also boasts an extensive selection of notions, thread, accessories, fabrics, and parts. As a certified dealer for Brother and Handi-Quilter, Shawn’s Sewing Center stands as a premier destination for sewing enthusiasts. Renowned for its top-notch service department, the center has garnered acclaim as one of the region’s most sought-after destinations for all things sewing.
